Hi Guys,

First time post so forgive me for any ToC breaks.

Would anyone be able to help me out, I want to be able to edit the email submit button so that when you click submit it will put in a customised subject line but this needs to change with a drop down list that I have in the form as well.

Is this possible if it is could you let me know ?

Thanks again

p.s. If I haven't made my request clear let me know

Thanks again, Sorry to keep bothering you but I'm fairly new to Acrobat. Where is the properties option ? I'm working in LiveCycle Designer.

You should have mentioned that earlier... LCD forms are very different compared to PDF forms.

You should ask your question here: LiveCycle Designer

See: https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/dynamically-setting-submit-e-mail-address (it talks about setting a dynamic email address, but the same concept can easily be used for the subject line instead)

Under Properties - Actions - add a new Mouse Up trigger and select "Run a JavaScript" as the action, then enter the code into the window that opens.
