I want to create the pdf. I do not want it to open

I print multi page PDFs. I want them to printed and saved. But, I do not want Adobe DC Pro to open them. Is there a setting for that?

No, that's not possible.

The closest you can get to it is to use a code the prints the file and then closes it. It's not a good idea, though.
