In Acrobat 9 there is a Save As "Press Quality". Is this the same as PDF/X?

Absolutely NOT. The PDF/X fixups and validations are in Acrobat 9 Pro's Preflight Function.

I forgot to mention, this is 9 Standard. Is there anyway to get an X saved file?

Unfortunately, the Preflight and Prepress functions are only in the Pro version of Acrobat, not the Standard version. Sorry!
