I have written this code for a combo box (qmblu) with the quantities as seen in the formula, but the only value displaying is for qty=1 (I checked by changing the numbers to 1, 2, etc, instead of 12.22 and '1' showed in the price field). Even the else "" is being ignored with default on the first value. Can anyone please tell me what I'm missing? The combo box works - my product of the two fields changes based on quantity changes, but always multiplies by the same price. I have two forms: The first shows a list of 100 products, each with a check box.  If a product is used that day, I check the box-- typically between 3 to 10 products used per day.  For instance, today I used Q,R,V, X, and Z, and so I check the corresponding boxes.On the second there are 20 rows for inputting the keycode and quantity used for each product that was checked off on page 1.  For instance, when I checked off the box for product Q on the first page, on this page I specify that the keycode for Q is 1032, and I used 7 of them.  The next line says that R's keycode is 4402 and I used 2 of them, V is 5001 and I used 1 of them, etc.I've got a simple script for autopopulating the corresponding keycode on page 2 when the checkbox on page 1 is checked.  HOWEVER, that only works for row 1.  So when I check the box for using product Q on page 1, on the first row of page 2 it automatically writes "1032" into the keycode column.  But when I say I also us

I couldn't find a way to automate the alternate text of images with javascript based on a list.I would like to have javascript reference an attachment or text file that has figure # (1 through 20+) and it's description. This would then automatically be applied to the alternate text of an image as it would find them in the accessibility feature.I can explain more if needed, but establishing code that references a list of text would be a good place to start.

I have a original copy of PDF and a list of names in a CSV. And I want to save a new copy the original then put a name from the list as file name of the new PDF, then repeat the procedure for the rest of names. I was tasked to rename some textfields, checkboxes, radio buttons and dropdown fields in a working Fillable form. The only thing I did was to add prefixes to the original name and update the javascript codes of fields (replace old field names with new ones).I got a feedback saying that only a few of the calculations work and majority isn't working anymore.I didn't create this form and haven't used it even once. Hi. I'm creating a fillable form and I'd like to allow the user to pick a date using the date field which will then auto-populate a field next to it with the corresponding day of the week. I tried to do a custom format in the properties which seemed to work fine on my computer but would error when filling it using an iPad. (Form will most of the time be filled out on an iPad). I've been searching forums and other pages for an answer however I have absolutley no JavaScript experience. I'm also finding it a little hard to get started on my own. I'm new at this and I'm currently working on a document in Acrobat Pro DC where I want to have a portion of the document hidden until all of the required fields are filled with any value. So far, I've only found resources on how to use a check box (or something similar like a button) to hide/show the additional portion of the document. This is what I'll end up doing as a last resort, but it's not ideal since the user will be able to toggle it on/off at any time, and my preference is for them to be able to do so only after all the fields are filled out.My basic understand from using IF AND statements in Excel leads me to believe that should is a relatively simple script, but I haven't found any tutorials or examples of this scenario using JavaScript in Acrobat Pro DC. So any resources you can point me to would be appreciated!

When printing PDF files there is a thumbnail of the document displayed. If it is a color document and you want to simply print it gray you can use the Advanced settings and change the Color from Composite to Composite Gray. When you do this, the thumbnail in the Advance window changes but the thumbnail in the Print window does not, it always shows color.So, because Acrobat remembers the setting from the previous print job, if you print a new color print it will print gray also. It could be hours between prints so you would not remember that the previous print was forced to gray. Because the thumbnail in the Print window always shows color you can't know for sure that the Color selection in the Advance window is not set to Gray.If the thumbnail in the Print window was the same as the thumbnail in the Advance window (it reflects the Color selection: Composite or Composite Gray) the user could know before sending a job what the print results will be. Thanks to a LOT of help from this forum, I have set it up so that all of these fields are populated when I select the company name from a dropdown list. The data is stored in a tab-delimited file at a fixed, specified location on my hard drive.
