Hello. Is it possible to place 3D on a particular layer in the PDF file?From the Acrobat DC UI, when I add a 3D it adds to the entire document as the content is not added to a specific layer.I wonder if there is a way to add 3D via scripting. Thanks in advance.

I have created a form, am able to use a calculated script to hide & unhide certain fields when a certain action is performed from a dropdown box. I have added a button to spawn from a template, but I cannot figure out how to have the calculated scripts modify themselves with the new field names.

I have an interactive PDF with a form field button called “Nav_Forward_Page_14” that is set to hidden. I'm looking for a way to permanently delete the cropped area in acrobat (batch).I have a 7 paged document which is cropped into 7 different sizes (news paper adds). I have a batch which does this perfectly, the problem is that each page can be quite big, as all the cropped elements remains in each page. I know I manually can remove these elements, open the pdf in illustrator and remove it or flatten it, but this is not an option. I have tried using "Remove hidden information", but this removes transparency as well. If I uncheck "deleted or cropped content" there's no transparency error, but the file size won't change much (stay too big). I have tried "preflight fixup" that removes cropped areas, it removes the cropped ares all right but the file size remains unchanged.I have found a javascript which was supposed to removed the cropped areas, but it does'nt work (probably my fault. I don't speak java, I only fake it!). Can somebody help me solving this problem?

I have read through multiple pages here and used various codes but am having no luck.  The most common error I receive is a cPath unsupported error.  I have place code in the trusted folder script area.  I have tried various button codes but same results.let me explain my unique situation and what I need to accomplish and maybe there is a simpler way.  all I need is to have a for button simple enough.  it needs when pressed by the user to either silently save as or bring up a dialog, preferably a dialogue that will save the filled pdf as a new name chosen from 2 or three form fields that have been filled out by the user with valid either number or letter characters.  honestly it could even save the form as the same name but to a new folder named from just one form field and i would be able to live with that. this will be used on only one pc on a closed network and the form will be saved to a local path.  I understand I may still need trusted script wh

We are the developers of a Win32 application that opens PDF files using the Windows API ShellExecuteA.Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (version 2018.011.20040) is installed in Windows to open PDF files.We have a 64-bit Windows 10 Home machine (version 1803, OS build17134.137) with two copies of our application - Both copies are the exact same version of our application.When we run the application normally (ie. NOT as an Admin user), both copies of our application are able to open PDF files successfully.However, on one of the copies of our application, if we run the application using the "Run as Administrator" Windows option, when we try to open a PDF file, ShellExecuteA does NOT return any error but the PDF file does not open AND Acrobat is then "stuck" from that point forward and cannot open any PDF file using ANY user context. We are forced to restart Windows to allow Acrobat to work again.On the other copy of the application when "Run as Administrator", the problem does NOT happen.In both ca

Hi there,I have been using Adobe Acrobat with Enfocus PitStop and Quite Imposing plug-ins installed for about a year now.  Recently, I have been experiencing issues with the Quite Imposing feature.  It seems that when I go to N-Up or Step and Repeat my crop marks are about an 1/8th of an inch short than where they should lie.  Is this an issue that can be addressed within the program or does something further need to happen?Please help!Andrew

My the goal is to get currently selected text in Adobe Reader from another application. As I'm a newbie in Adobe SDK development, firstly I'd like to know is it possible to do this at all and what it the best approach. Currently I got it working from my C++ application by sending Copy Menu ID message to Adobe's main window and then retrieving text from clipboard but this solution is not stable because time to time this ID changes. I wonder - can I implement selected text copy/extraction by use of some Adobe's technology (IAC, plug-in, etc.) and what is the right solution for this aim? Thanks.
