HelloI have a PDF form that has dropdown boxes in a column that has a text box at the bottom that I want to display a total sum based on the letter showing in the dropdown boxes.  If an "X" is displayed in the dropdown box, then I want it to be counted and included in the total at the bottom.  In the image below there are 4 "X's" displayed in the dropdown boxes and the total at the bottom of the boxes has "4". I want to add a javascript to the "Total Hits" field that automatically adds the number of "X's" displayed in the dropdown boxes.  I will do the same thing for each Table (I, II, III, and IV).Can someone please help me with this?

hello I have a signed and blocked pdf that has an attachment but the initial view does not open the window of attachments, I have to send that file to other people, my question is how can I generate a message to say that this file has an attached document?

Background: I made the world's coolest dynamic Acrobat JS app/pdf thing for this guy to create and complete dynamic reports using templates and such.Problem: Now I'm working on a web app (html, javascript, php, MySQL -- so far ... I have created a form, am able to use a calculated script to hide & unhide certain fields when a certain action is performed from a dropdown box. I have added a button to spawn from a template, but I cannot figure out how to have the calculated scripts modify themselves with the new field names.

I'm looking for a way to permanently delete the cropped area in acrobat (batch).I have a 7 paged document which is cropped into 7 different sizes (news paper adds). I have a batch which does this perfectly, the problem is that each page can be quite big, as all the cropped elements remains in each page. I know I manually can remove these elements, open the pdf in illustrator and remove it or flatten it, but this is not an option. I have tried using "Remove hidden information", but this removes transparency as well. If I uncheck "deleted or cropped content" there's no transparency error, but the file size won't change much (stay too big). I have tried "preflight fixup" that removes cropped areas, it removes the cropped ares all right but the file size remains unchanged.I have found a javascript which was supposed to removed the cropped areas, but it does'nt work (probably my fault. I don't speak java, I only fake it!). Can somebody help me solving this problem?

I have read through multiple pages here and used various codes but am having no luck.  The most common error I receive is a cPath unsupported error.  I have place code in the trusted folder script area.  I have tried various button codes but same results.let me explain my unique situation and what I need to accomplish and maybe there is a simpler way.  all I need is to have a for button simple enough.  it needs when pressed by the user to either silently save as or bring up a dialog, preferably a dialogue that will save the filled pdf as a new name chosen from 2 or three form fields that have been filled out by the user with valid either number or letter characters.  honestly it could even save the form as the same name but to a new folder named from just one form field and i would be able to live with that. this will be used on only one pc on a closed network and the form will be saved to a local path.  I understand I may still need trusted script wh
