Hello,I have 10 pdfs 20 pages each. I need to combine them into 1 pdf as layers. Standard Import layer allows only to import it page by page which is very time consuming. What are the other ways to do that? I tried to do that in Illustrator as well, but it gives me the same page by page import.Any help appreciated Thank you

I don't see a focus() method documented under the dialog documentation but when I inspect the dialog keys I see that one of them is ​focus​. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Hello everyone,I have a form that I am working with that is about 77 pages long. Currently when I go to a field it has a clock that appears. It eventually goes way after about a second or two, but I want to know if there is a way to get rid of it or increase the speed of the form itself.Thanks in advance Yvette

Hi,I have looked at the API and can't seem to figure out how to tinker the bookmark object to do what I need.I have a PDF that I am assembling from other documents. Once it is fully assembled, I need to 1) remove the bookmarks that are generated (I don't need to keep any) and then I need to 2) add in new bookmarks. I'm currently doing it manually every time the document is assembled. I was attempting to write something that would go to the page I need to insert the bookmark (this.pagenum) and then inserting the bookmark, but was unsuccessful. Any tips? What successes have you had in adding/removing bookmarks? Is there a better way to do this? Thank you!

Hi,I'm new to Javascript and acrobat. I've figured out how to merge my PDFs, but now am attempting to reorder them. The same pages will need to be moved to the same positions every time the PDF is updated (page 5 to 10, pages 11-14 to 67-70 etc.). What's the best way to do this? I've already consulted the API reference and still can't figure it out. I've attempted the this.movePage command as well as creating a temporary folder to hold the pages that I need to move. No luck.Thanks for your help.

I have Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2010, and Acrobat X installed on my computer.  In Word, the PDFMaker Add-in will not stick.  Every time I close the application, the add-in disappears and I have to re-activate it each time I open Word.  In addition, when I try to combine Word files as a PDF file ("Combine supported files in Acrobat"), an error message pops up that says "Missing PDFMaker files.  Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?"  If I say yes, the computer goes through the process and then prompts me to restart.  Then I go through the process all over again in a never-ending loop.  I've checked the location of the PDFMaker files, and they are where they should be:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\PDFMaker\Office\PDFMOfficeAddin.dll.  Any suggestions on a fix?

How to run .sequ file through Javascript object?

I would like to write a program that opens a pdf in a new window, saves the pdf on any change to the document, and closes the window when the program determines is appropriate. However, I would also like the pdf to interact with the user through a third-party plugin in the same way it does in Adobe Reader DC. With the third-party plugin installed, when the document is open in Adobe Reader DC and the user clicks on a signature field, a signature box pops up for the user to apply their signature, and when they click Accept, the signature field on the pdf is updated. Is it possible to open a pdf in a non-Adobe-Reader-DC window (without the scrolling options frame on the right and without the toolbar at the top) that still interacts with third-party Reader plugins? Would I use AcroPDF object’s LoadFile method? I am trying to determine what is and is not possible before embarking down a path, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Whenever I try to open the comments pane in Acrobat Pro DC, it hangs with a beachball for nearly 15 seconds. This happens on both machines where I have Acrobat DC installed. Is this normal behavior for Acrobat DC? We are an all Mac all digital workflow, but I am one of the few not using Acrobat 9. Oh, how I miss it

Hi,I have a big problem with a calculation on my form or lets say it works in a strange way.Well, I guess it had to do with the order they are calculated.There are two fields (date) and one field (number) which calculates the difference of the two date fields as days.E.g.Field 1: 2018.01.26Field 2: 2018.01.28Field 3: 2Field 4: 70€That works correctly and they are updated immediatly when I'll change the date values. I have multiple duplicate PDF files. They definitely are the same, contents-wise.Acrobat compare files shows no differences. File sizes are the same, dates (not times) are the same.But they have different hashes (there is technical reason why this, but not very much relevant)So, sizes, contents, metadata and dates are the same.The usual duplicate files finder tools, they take hashes into account and therefore they are of no use.Acrobat can compare 1 file with another one.Regretfully I have not found a way where files within an entire folder is being compared, based on above criteria,thus marking files as (possible) duplicates.Are there any solution for this?Except, of course, going thru the entire folder and manually delete duplicates.=

Hi,I am having a number field ("Number Field") with decimals and I want to know the placement of decimals, it would be dynamic. Sometimes "Number Field" value will be("52.6531", "526.531", "5265.31") I want to know the exact place of where the decimal starts like (3, 4, 5) answers for the given values.

I'm preparing a form with some custom calculations in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and I'm fairly new to javascript, especially concerning form PDFs.I have a single dropdown with three values (A, B, C) and six numeric fields (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). The dropdown's default value is null and each field's default value is 0. When the dropdown = A, I'd like 1 and 4 to auto-populate with "25";dropdown = B, 2 and 5 auto-populate with 20;dropdown = C, 3 and 6 auto-populate with 15.What kind of functions should I use to achieve this, and where do I put the script?Thank you!

Hi,I'm having one text field (Text1)  and one number field (NumberField) in an acrobat form and I need to pull the data from number field to the text field.Sometimes the NumberField value is in negative numbers.
