Indexing through Javascript

Dear Team,

The index creation is essential for all the PDFs generated in our envelopment area as most of the PDFs are more than 10K pages.

To make search faster, index is needed and in our work area, it is quite impossible to get Acrobat license for all the associates.

So we would like to try the below approach:

1) Get the license installed for limited servers

2) Create Javascripts for index creation by contacting Adobe Acrobat in server.

3) Then indexed PDFs can be used by our customers.

We would like to know the costing model to achieve the same to proceed further.

Awaiting for your reply!

Thank you!
Regards,

S.Radha

You cannot use Adobe Acrobat on a server - for legal and technical reasons. See the EULA that you agreed to when you installed Acrobat for more information. Adobe has server software that does provide indexing support: Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite 4

Dear Team,

Thanks for the quick response. The solution matches with our requirement. But to proceed further, please answer for the below questions:

1) Is the Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite 4 can be customized to have minimum features along with Indexing options?

2) If so, what is the cost if this package is to be installed in Germany and India?

3) License related information

Thank you!
