Install of Acrobat Pro 9 on my Mac won't finish

Trying to install Acrobat Pro 9 on my Mac running version Yosemite 10.10.5. Add the install to the applications folder, it then asks if I want to install extras, I say YES and then after that nothing happens. It just hangs. Says Adobe Acrobat is in use and never goes anywhere. Cany use the program whatsoever. Uninstall and reinstalled multiple times. Did OS updates etc. Nothing working please help@!! Never gets to the point of asking for a product key or anything.
