Installing Adobe Acrobat XI Standard Setup Interrupted

I am trying to install adobe acrobat XI Standard on a 64bit win7 machine.  I have tried from the disc as well as from Dell Digital Delivery.  I have tried, custom, complete and typical options and this is the error adobe gives me.   Setup Interrupted.  The Wizard was interrupted before adobe 11.0.07 could be completely installed.

Event Viewer gives me this error: Installation success or error status: 1603.

Adobe chat told me to try these options Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  and Error 1603: A fatal error occurred during Adobe Creative Suite installation

Nothing worked so they told me to post here.  Thank you
