Okay i have spent so much time watching videos, reading and trial and error and although some options they provide are close or great for 2 fields in an excel sheet but only for drop down menus. no luck so far.

Here is what i am trying to achieve.

I have an excel sheet with about 12 columns, Its a building data base. Name of building location square footage and so forth.

I have a template design that i want to have agents to simply drop down a building name then have it auto populate the remaining fields, address, floors and so forth.

I am really hoping someone out there will be able to explain how to achieve this or if possible

system info

Windows 10

Adobe Acrobat X pro

Excel 2016

p.s. just as a bonus any chance someone might know this as well. I have a spot for a picture of the building to be placed. is there a way for them to click that field select a file from out photo database and it will auto fill that box to the exact size of the frame?

It's not possible to connect an Acrobat form to an external DB. If the data source was a plain-text file (not an Excel file) then it would have been possible to do it using a custom-made script.

By the way, you should know that Acrobat X is not compatibly with Windows 10.

This is quite a complex task, that would require the development of a custom-made script.
