Invalid Serial Number - Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard

We have a couple of computers installed with Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard. They are going to be scrapped.

On the new computers, it says invalid serial number when we install it.

I've seen some answers but here's further info I need to state it clearly.

1. Yes, Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard (317 MB) was downloaded from Download Acrobat 8 and Acrobat 9

2. The new computers have only the Acrobat Reader installed.

3. As chat support verified, it's a valid license key and it is for Acrobat 9 Standard.

Appreciate if support technician can reply soonest! Thank you!

I wonder if they were volume licenses. If so you must use the volume license installer originally supplied.

The chat support didn't highlight this when they said the key is valid.

I've just checked with them again and they confirmed it's volume license.

Can you please advise where we can get the installer as we've lost the CD?

Hi we are upgrading computers. We still have acrobat 9 standard license key but lost the CD. Can you help me to verify whether this key is for individual or volume license?

HI Shawn Lin,

Could you please let me know the OS version on the new computers ?

Also were these serial keys used before in old computers to install acrobat 9 ?

Also you can try referring to this link : Invalid serial number error

Let me know if this helps.

Regards

Hi Sarojini,

Both old and new computers are using Windows 7.

Old computer is still installed with acrobat 9 standard but we need to transfer it the new one.

Just to play safe. We tried to make it happen on new machine first before we uninstall from old one so we still have machine to perform daily work.

Acrobat 9 doesn't seem to verify license via internet as it instantly tells me it's invalid license when we click next.

Also I've tried all the methods in the link you provided but none of them worked.

Can you please advise further?
