Is it possible to click a box in a series of available answers and have the number of the box selected show up in a different field in the PDF?

Working with a series of multiple questions, when an answer box is selected, is it possible for the number of the box clicked on to show up in a different area on the page?

It's easy to do without any JavaScript, see this example document: https://abracadabrapdf.net/parking/AcroUsers/Sum-radioboxes.pdf

Yes, but how it's done depends on what you mean by a "box in a series of answers".

Do you mean radio buttons? or Checkboxes ?  And by "different field" do you mean a text field?

Hi lynneinSparks,

If got you correctly, then you are willing to create a conditional form where while selecting a particular answer box another box should be populated, and that would have the number of the box selected as answer?

This is something that might not be simple to achieve directly, it would require JavaScript. Moving your query to JavaScript space. Our experts might be able to help you with the same.

Thanks,
