Question

Is it possible to link text boxes in a fillable form?

The forms I create are used by people who download them from our intranet and some fill out the forms on the computers and some print them out and fill them out by hand. Some folks refuse to to type in info, regardless of how much easier it is to read and how much quicker their forms get processed.

That being said on some of my forms I have been asked to keep ruled lines for the dinosaurs to write on, so my question is: Is it possible to create individual lines of text boxes and link them so that in the final form the text flows continuously from line to line?

Forms can be dynamic, so it is possible to have an empty field show the lines but when a user types into the form field that the background or fill changes from transparent to white so that the underlying lines are behind the white filled form.

I had no idea. So how would I set that up? I'm guessing it would be one giant text box? Would I set the fill to white or do I have to javascript something that upon filling the box turns to a white fill?
