Is there a way in Acrobat to get the total % area coverage of a file?

Hi, We are looking for a way to calculate the % of area coverage with ink in a file on a certain sheet size.

Most costing software i have looked at works on ML used but our sales/costing system work on what percentage of area covered is covered in ink.
