Is there a way to have a drop down list populate a statement in a different text box?

Question

For example, if someone chooses the first headline, is there a way for the text box below to produce the definition or statement?

Maintain, renew, and improve the District’s infrastructure through effective asset management.

Additionally, is there a way for text to populate on multiple pages throughout a document. For example, if I want someone's name to populate on multiple pages and they only have to document their name once on the first page, is there a way where the document can pick up that information and populate it into "field" elsewhere.

- That's very easily done. Just name all the fields with the same name and they'll automatically have the same value.
