Is there a way to reset the password for signing?

I'm pretty sure I have digitally signed a document before but I don't recall using any password. Hence, I do not remember it now that it's asking for one! I don't see a reset link so is there anyway to reset such a password or have I lost the ability to sign a document forever?

If you're applying a digital signature using a digital ID you set up with Acrobat or Reader, you can always set up a new one if you've forgotten your password.
