Question

JavaScript in pdf not calculating formulas on mobile device.

I've created an editable pdf (timesheet) that performs calculations based on user input for each row. The calculations work correctly when opened via Windows Desktop but not on mobile for either IoS or Android. Any thoughts?

Hi Steve,

JavaScript in Acrobat/Reader for mobile is very limited, so many scripts do/will not work.  The mobile PDF viewer that has the most JavaScript implemented is Readdle's PDF Expert ( https://pdfexpert.com/ ).  There are other mobile viewers that have more of the JavaScript model implemented than Adobe, but Readdle is the most complete.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri
