Limited number of prints

Is there a way to allow a specific amout of prints for a pdf? I read the same question in a 2016 discussion and the reply was "no". I hope the the in 6 year time something has changed

The impossible doesn't change. Did you know that some printers keep what you print so you can print an unlimited number...?

It's impossible to limit the number of printed copies of a file. Even if it was, someone could just take the printed version and duplicate it, so it would be worthless anyway.

I perfectly know that. But it make differences for my customers to pay a certain amout of money for a pdf they they know they would print let's say only 20 times, amount that I would like to be different for another customer whom I already know it would print it 2000 times.
