I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED A ADOBE ACROBAT PRO AND I HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SERIAL NUMBER FOR A MAC MACHINE BUT I HAVE A WINDOWS MACHINE. I AM HAVING TROUBLE CONTACTING ADOBE. HELP

Kindly go through the help document Return, cancel, or exchange an Adobe order

contact customer care to return/exchange the product, as serial number that you were given was for mac which is not going to work on windows.

In order to get the serial number for windows, you need to return the current mac version.
