Markups in a document twist 90°, move out of place, I don't know how to fix.

After editing a document with the line tool and text box, then saving the document, waiting a few days, then opening the document, Acrobat has twisted the edits by 90°. I don't know how to fix this. I can't trust Acrobat for document editing right now. This is a simple example.
