measuring areas and perimeter pdf web browser

Hello, does the adobe api have the ability to allow the measuring of areas and perimeter when loading a pdf in the web browser.  We have setup and loaded the odf, but we cant figure out how to turn on the measurements menu so we can measure areas and perimeters  etc.
