When doing a custom scan there is one feature and one bug in my opinion that need fixing.

Metric sizing for custom scans is still not present for all of the world barring the USA who default to metric sizes.

Inputting the sizes is counter-intuitive as you have to input the numbers right to left so if you want to a width of 8.65 you have to type 65.8. Tell me how that makes any sense?

Which does remind me, are your CC apps in English (International) aka UK instead of North America?

It's possible you may have the English (North America) Acrobat DC installed and changing to English (International) will allow you to install Acrobat DC in that language which may (haven't tried it) give you those Metric units.

Ok, I've found your original post Create from Scan interface custom page sizes (best to post a link to save time). I see Adobe acknowledged the problem and said their "team was working on it". Generally these things take a few months (3-10), if it is accepted as a bug and sufficiently prioritized.

By the way, I don't recall seeing other questions like this. This suggests your situation is unusual, or we'd be besieged by people with the same issue. That's why I asked the question you have ignored twice. But never mind.

Maybe what it suggests is most people use the standard page sizes for

scanning or a larger than necessary standard size and crop in document.

I have found it faster to set up scans the other way.

Also, Acrobat hides the cropped scan rather than actually dispensing with

the parts removed leaving you with a larger document so it's definitely

better to scan the document with its original dimensions.

Okay so you have an Epson MFP that take a maximum of A3.

When you go to File > Create > PDF from Scanner, you get the Import dialog for your scanner.

Do you see a gear marked "Settings"?

If you are not sure make a screenshot of the dialog and paste it here.

Perhaps nobody has seen this before. Maybe you could give details to see if anyone is the same: system, language, Acrobat version, scanner. Also a screen shot (do not email it!) showing where you make the custom settings as thus night not be part of Acrobat.

It's most definitely part of Acrobat DC updates since first version.

I am not using the scanner interface.

Create from Scan

Custom scan choices include changing the dimensions to custom and the only

measurement choices are imperial and inputting the numbers has to done

right to left.

I was informed that something was being done about the measurements but

it's been a while and nothing has happened. Not impressed
