Missing critical editing functions in Acrobat Pro

Figured it out. Wanted to share in case others had this question. The tool to cross out and replace text has been replaced by the ability to just cursor highlight text and start typing. Sadly (for someone who's a professional writer/editor), the highlighter plus comment tool (not to be confused with the plain highlighter tool) seems to have been eliminated. Adding comments to highlightered text is now a two-step process.
