more on stamps

For the last few days I've been looking into stamps. I've successfully created both types so far. But, what I was, stamps were tamper proof. I found out they are not. In Acrobat Pro X and also, in all the Readers. You can't flatten them in the Reader so if you give your doc to someone that has and is versed in Acrobat they can delete the stamp and create their own stamp which looks exactly like mine. Even if flattening was possible you can use the Edit Object tool to select it and delete it then create your own counterfeit stamp and modify the doc. It's a little disappointing because I don't like people having access to my projects. Give someone your doc with containing some stamps and if they choose, in the Reader they can delete all the stamps under the Comments List. My question is - How do you experts keep your docs a bit more secure?

Secure from what, exactly? The only thing you can do that's relatively safe is to digitally sign the file. It doesn't prevent tempering with it, but it makes it possible to prove that a file has been tempered with. Anything else can be overcome by someone who is willing enough.
