My Acrobat pro stopped working and won't allow me to reinstall or activate.

I have Acrobat Pro 7 which stopped working.  It won't allow me to reactivate it even though that is what it is asking for.  I have removed it and reinstalled 2x and it; 1. Can no longer connect with the activation server at Adobe. 2. Will not allow me to use it in any way until this is completed.

Do I have to get a newer copy of Acrobat Pro?  I was running on W7 and nave upgraded to W10
