I don't want to install Acrobat DC at all, as I have already X Pro. DC installs itself, and my Acrobat X Pro program quits to work. I don't seem to get rid of it.  In windows it is the same problem was with Mac. My X Pro license number does not qualify anymore. And DC trial program has ended to work. I don't want to buy it.

You may uninstall the Acrobat pro DC trial from your system through Control Panel in windows & from applications,run the uninstaller for Acrobat pro DC .

Then you may work on your systems with Acrobat X pro .Please provide the exact error message which you are receiving on activating Acrobat X pro.
