It is very simple to edit your PDF. To do this you only need to convert it in word file format.

Make sure you are using Acrobat and not the free Reader.

Has any security been applied to the PDF?

Make sure the version of Acrobat is compatible with the OS you are using.

Make sure you are editing a PDF with text and not a PDF that consist of only an image of text.
