My stand alone copy of Acrobat Pro DC now no longer enables me to recognize text.

Yesterday I was able to use my standalone copy of Acrobat Pro DC to process pdfs and "recognize text".

Today I get the error message, "This feature is not included in your current Acrobat license".

What is going on here? Adobe is removing features in software that I have already purchased?
