Navigate pdf by hand gestures

Hello. I dont have much experience in js in Adobe Reader and i have a question. I have to write app or script which navigate through a pdf (scrolling, change a page etc.) document by users hand gestures. Is it possible to bind certain operations with certain gestures? For example when gesture is recgonised, algorithm returns value which trigger some actions (ctrl + / ctrl - / up / down etc ) in the pdf document? Thanks for answers.

I don't think you'll be able to use Acrobat Reader for this. Its programming interface (API) doesn't let you change the user interface. Like most apps, the default handling of touch gestures takes place, even though it wasn't written to handle them; gestures may translate to click, drag, scroll etc.
