Need to have todays date in Custom Stamp.

I currently use the stamp below. I need the date in the middle to always be editable or it could be Todays Date. This is a hand stamp I cropped and made into a custom stamp.

There are examples in the dynamic stamps provided as part of Acrobat/Reader.

Dynamic stamp secrets using JavaScript and Acrobat XI by Thom Parker. The article is old but the approach and steps still apply.
