new Mac/office adobe dc pro crashes while combining

In my business I need to combine multiple excel files to a single PDF if I try to do more then 3-4 files it crashes. Also I'm a new mac owner I came over from windows 10 and my excel had a pdf tab. This dose not. I saw other threads from last year saying there would be a October fix. Did it never come?
