Newbie- How do I change the value of a dropdown

I have 3 drop down boxes that need to be averaged. However, before they are averaged, I need to change their value to:

1=7

2=6

3=5

4=4

5=3

6=2

1=7

What do I do?

Set the export value of each item to the real number it represents.

I should add I need the original scores averaged and then need the alternative values averaged. Make sense?

Not really, but OK... You would need a custom calculation script to do that.
