No new form field annotations were detected.

Acrobat isn't detecting any of my form fields from a PDF I've exported from Illustrator. Can figure it out

Is there a way I need to export from Illustrator?

I get the above note followed by a dialogue box that says: Content Preparation Process... and just hangs there.
