Note to Replace Text change to Strikethrough Text

Hi, I hope someone can help me quickly.

I've been working on editing a pdf document for 3 days now and somehow, when I opened the file this morning, some annotations are gone. I had been using the Note to Replace Text and now looking at the comments pane, they have been change to Strikethrough Text with empty pop-ups. Also, the marks on the document are different, the marks also became like those of strikethrough, only in a different color. This had not happen before.

I've tried navigating through my preference and I've allowed almost all for pop-up behavior, but nothing did the trick.

(I'm using Mac, and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC)

To anyone who can save my file and hard work, THANK YOU.

Hi, if there isn't anything confidential in the document, would you mind sharing the pdf please so we can debug more?

Also, please confirm what's the latest version of DC you running with? You can check the same through Launch Acrobat -> Help -> About Acrobat Pro DC -> you will see the version string listed like 15.017.20050.

Hi, I'm running on 15.017.20050. What settings should I have to view them? I'm still waiting for permission to share with you the file. In the mean time, is there anything I could do to try to fix it? Thank you very much.
