Opening Acrobat Pro

I've owned Adobe Acrobat Pro for several years.  I''m running Mac OS 10.9.5. Today, when I try to open Acrobat there's a window saying "The application "Adobe Acrobat Pro" can't be opened - 10810" Any intelligence re this?
