OS X Sierra problems

I upgraded my mac to OS X Sierra. Acrobat DC Pro (desktop version) will not open - the error message says it may have to be uninstalled and reinstalled. How do I uninstall DC Pro? There does not seem to be an uninstall tool. I do have my serial number for the version of Acrobat I purchased. Thanks.

Sign out of your account... Uninstall... run the Cleaner...

-for non-Cloud programs you need to DE-activate before uninstalling

-http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html (and uninstall)

-using the cleaner after uninstalling and before reinstalling is often needed

-Restart your computer... Sign in to your account... Reinstall

That is, of course, if the version of the program you have will even work with Sierra!

How can I de-activiate if the program won't open on my computer?

The link you provided does not contain any information about uninstalling, just installing. I am asking whether there is an uninstall tool or whether I can just delete the application and then download it again.
