Out of Memory ISSUE.. what does this mean?? HELP!!!!

Hi.. I have been using my version of Adobe Acrobat Pro for a long time.  I recently updated my Mac to the newest OS and now I keep getting this message saying OUT OF MEMORY and I can't see the pages in my PDF.. Does anyone know how I can fix this????

Please help.. it is driving me crazy!
