Outlook 2013 IRM Encrypted message still converts to PDF

Our client currently has Exchange 2013 with AD RMS/IRM configured. When a user receives an IRM encrypted with the "Do Not Forward" policy template applied, all options are greyed out for saving, copying or printing the email. The only option that does not get greyed out is the Adobe plugin's convert to PDF. The option allows users to then save the email to a file and then print/email/forward/copy the PDF. This essentially completely bypasses the IRM protection. Any ideas on how to resolve that? Microsoft support has directed us to Adobe to resolve this issue.

Sounds serious, I recommend you do contact Adobe. This is, however, a community forum and while Adobe staff sometimes come by it isn't a way to submit serious issues.

Thanks, trying to find a support number for Adobe seems less easy than winning the Powerball lottery.

Can be: a key point in using the links from Support / Still need help is to make sure you fill in the questions accurately. Some products and class of problem are not entitled to support, so Adobe try to help by leaving off the options. Doesn't help at all, I fear.
