pasting text into acrobat form text area

I just created a form from a document using acrobat X pro.  All is fine EXCEPT it does not seem possible for the user to paste text into the one text field.  I do have Rich Text selected.

Can anyone help?

Later: I have added a workaround to the form asking people to download it to their computer, fill it out, save it and return as an email attachment.  It seems that the stated problem above is only with Chrome.  With Firefox, one can't fill it in online AT ALL via the browser and Safari doesn't let the user scroll to the next page. This is how it is on my macbook anyway.

I still would like anyone's wisdom on this/these issues, but for the time being, I'm going with the workaround.
