pdf calculations work well using pc. when opened in ios there are issues with calculations and data

PDF file created to perform multiple calculations. The form works with all pc. In apple products, certain calculations do not work and certain data does not populate on pages form the data sheet. Any ideas of what may be causing the issue?

Hi.

Acrobat for iOS (and Acrobat for Android) don't have the same features as the desktop version.

Especially for JavaScript and form which are poorly supported…

issue is using Macintosh. The forms work properly using pdf expert on iphone and pad.

You wrote initially that "certain calculations do not work"... Can you be more specific? What kind of calculations work and what kind don't? Also, what does "doesn't work" mean, exactly? Do they produce the wrong results? No results at all?

Also, can you share the file in question?

I know the file was opened in Adobe and not the browser. I am not sure how to check javaScript

You can check if JavaScript is enabled under the application's menu - Preferences - JavaScript.

the file is being opened using the Apple version of Adobe Reader DC. I have downloaded the most recent file update. Can you think of anything else that could be causing the issue?

Are you sure the file is opened in the Adobe application, and not inside a browser window, for example?

Yes. Most likely it's caused by opening the file using Apple Preview, which is a buggy application that corrupts PDF forms and doesn't handle basic things like scripts and form fields correctly.
