Doing this sort of thing in Acrobat using buttons or layers is a better approach, but would require a bit of JavaScript programming and it may not work on mobile and some non-Adobe PDF viewers.

Well, it works on mobile and tablet if you upload indesign file to Folio builder and sync to phone or tablet. By the way, regarding html, do u have any idea with how to disable the left/right/up/down key button (image below) when you opening and watching a PDF file or any file in any software?

‌I think you're expecting waaay too much from such a convoluted workflow. Since Flash is dying fast and more than half of people can never use it why not let us know what you want and we can try to let you know if there's a better way Or if PDF is not for this project. Start with 'multi object states' - what?

This is called object state.

It clearly states on that page: "When you print the file or export it to PDF, only the active state appears."

So no, you can't include these objects in a PDF file.
