Question

PDF Javascript debugger not showing debugging code/breakpoints on web browser

Hello,

I am trying to launch a pdf form in IE or Firefox, Chrome  with some javascript code. The code works fine and it is possible to debug in a local pdf. But I cannot set breakpoints and debug it inside a web browser. I am using win 7 with Internet explorer 11 and adobe acrobat 9.5 (professional).

Does anyone knows why I cannot debug on a web browser ? Thanks in advance.

When a PDF is opened in a browser window you are using a plug-in and not the full program.

So it is not possible to see the debugger then ? In any browser ?

That is correct. To fully use the debugger you need to open the PDF outside of any browser window.

The plug-in for Acrobat and Reader are very similiar. Not all features of Acrobat are available when a PDF is opened in a browser window. Every try to open the full set of tools?
