PDF no longer interactive?

I was filling out an interactive PDF. I saved it. Now it is no longer interactive. I can edit it using Acrobat DC. But I want the original functionality which was given to me back.

Hi Atom99,

How did you fill the form in the first place? This will not happen if you fill that using Reader/Acrobat.

If you filled out the form using the "Fill & Sign" then it as design behavior. Or this will happen using Mac Preview as well.

Thank you. I'm pretty sure I filed the form out with Acrobat DC. I'm confident that I was not using Microsoft's Edge PDF reader.

After filling out the form, I later tried fill & Sign to add an electronic signature. But I'm not sure if I saved it beforehand.

I'll try to recreate what I did If I can find another original blank form.

    Got it. I can fill out the form several times and save it without a problem. Once I add a signature with fill & sign, the form locks up and I cannot add any more to the fields.
