pdf not valid

I've tried to fill in a patent document today to the Intellectual Property Office and it required a couple of pdf files, so I loaded them and got this message back:

• Pdf file failed verification. Please ensure the specified file is a valid pdf document. It obviously is a valid document I created it in Adobe Acrobat DC.

Can someone help me please I would appreciate it very much.
