If your file is over 5 megabytes don't try to email it. It can cause big problems for you and big problems for the recipient, which is not popular.

Send it online instead. There are many services designed for this such as http://www.wetransfer.com/ which are free and easy to use. Adobe have a subscription service too, but not clear what it adds over the free services.

Could you please tell what Operating System do you have- Windows/Mac?

Please try to use different Web Browser like Google Chrome/Internet Explorer/Microsoft Edge?

Also try to turn off Windows Firewall and then try to send again.
