PDF Portfolio cover page show up for 4 sec. - Any way to control the time?

Hello folks,

When opening a PDF portfolio, its cover page shows up for 4 seconds and then disappears. Is there any way to control the time during which the cover page appears on the screen? The time is defined somewhere, I just can't figure out where it's defined.
