PDF Security Question

Without going into the details, I accidently clicked on a malicious pdf from an email. Warning boxes popped up asking me to allow or block access. I panicked, opened the task manager and clicked end task on all Adobe processes. Do I need to be worried that malware was installed on my computer or did killing the process before I allowed (or blocked) access stop the process?

Hi,

If you downloaded and that might worry you, however the PDF tells you if you want to run something, it shows warnings.

But if it is good to run a good antivirus.

Cheers,

Hard to say, although it's unlikely you got a virus just from opening the file (if it was really a PDF).

I would recommend getting a good Anti-Virus application and running it on your computer, just in case.
