PDF Services API - Accessibility Checker

Hi all,

we want to implement a software that can automatically create pdf/ua conform pdfs out of not conform pdfs. For that we are searching for an Accessibility Checker that creates a report with all issues and their locations in the pdf itself. The desktop application Adobe Acrobat Pro is providing such kind of a feature and described that the sdk is using the same technology base. I can only find a specialized API for creating a report with "options" but this is providing only a page selection right? 

Can someone explain why its not possible to get an report with more detailed information such as location of the assessed issue by using the SDK/API?

Do you have another suggestions then how we could extract and analyse the tagging structure and/or the extended metadata such as xmp data by using adobe acrobat APIs?
