PDF with dropdown prefered fill please help

Hello,

i'm creating PDF with 20 dropdown list and one drop down on top. Each of 20dropdown have a 10or more items.

the idea is that dropdown on top would have a names which would, when you select one of them fill automatic in all 20dropdown item which is in group of this, if you wanna later change you can still choose from one of item in each dropdown. Is this even possibile?

 

can someone help me with example of one and i would than add with more. I would really appriciate that help. Thank you soo much.

Sure, it's possible. Let's say the 20 fields are named Dropdown1 to Dropdown20.

As the custom Validation script of the "master" drop-down enter the following code:

 

for (var i=1; i<=20; i++) {
	this.getField("Dropdown"+i).value = event.value;
}

thank you for this reply!! but i don't understand really.

You can see in file which i attach, example:

-where i have Shimano X is also 5 more words... so Shimano X, Shimano Y, Shimano M and so on. But in the all others like is ''tretlager'' is different names like Shimano BB-SM55 and and... and like this for all of down lines. Main goal is that when i put Shimano X is go in ''tretlager'' letter which i choose, and like this in all others down, but you still can change if need later manual. And when i put Shimano Y would display something different. and like this for all. I know that would be a lot writing code for each letter different i wanna just help for basic and than i do. Code which you write where would i write? in JS or in JS keychain
