plugin and web app

Is it possible to create a plugin that contains a customized button, when the button is clicked, it would post the file to a web app? I know it's doable to send a message to a desktop application using DDE but not sure about the web app. Thanks for any reply.

The chances of finding samples for any particular need are vanishingly small. What problems do you face in writing this? If it's an Acrobat API issue we may be able to help, but everything you need to do, pretty much, is not done with the Acrobat API at all.

If protected mode is off, you can use any API that does not block the current thread. Test carefully with Protected Mode in the latest version of Acrobat, it might block the web access and external app access you wish to do.
